A few things about cats.
We built CatDogTor because we've lived with cats — kittens rescued from courtyards, seniors slowed by age, strays we've fed through winters. A few things keep coming up.
The cats outside are ours too.
Food, clean water, a warm box under the stairs. If you can help with spay and neuter, do — it's the one small kindness that prevents a hundred harder lives. TNR groups exist in most cities and they want volunteers.
Vaccinate. Seriously.
Panleukopenia and herpesvirus are brutal and common. A single unvaccinated kitten brought into a home with others can end badly. Yearly check, core vaccines, done. We made this app partly so you never forget when the next one is due.
Skip the collar, or pick a breakaway one.
Regular collars catch on fences, branches, furniture — cats die from it every year. If you need one, only breakaway. A microchip is quieter and safer. For an indoor cat, a collar isn't doing anything anyway.

No, and it never will. CatDogTor is a diary and a reminder system. Every medical decision — which vaccine, which interval, which test — stays between you and your veterinarian.
Yes. You don't need an account, a name, or an email to use the app. Your records sit in a private workspace tied to an anonymous ID on your device. We don't run ads, and we don't sell data. Full details in our Privacy Policy.
You photograph a document. The app extracts dates, doses, biomarkers, and clinic names, and drafts a record. You review and confirm every field before anything is saved.
For cats: FVRCP, FeLV, Rabies. For dogs: DHP, Leptospirosis, Kennel Cough, Rabies. All intervals follow the 2024 WSAVA Guidelines.
